Secrets of an earlier universe: Hubble captures a red supergiant supernova from 11 billion years ago
Thanks to a phenomenon called gravitational lensing, three different moments of a distant supernova explosion have been captured in a single snapshot by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.
