Jessie James Decker took to Instagram on Sunday to brag about her daughter Vivianne’s gymnastics win, days after she hit back at critics over a viral snap that showed her kids with defined abs.
The 34-year-old country music singer captioned the post, ‘Vivi crushed it again today!!! First on beam and first on floor and took second place overall!!!!!!’
She added, “Proud Mama here (red heart).”
In a video of the eight-year-old performing the beam routine, she pointedly wrote, “Absolutely crushed.”

‘Proud mama’: Jesse James Decker shared details of his daughter Vivi’s gymnastics achievements over the weekend

Viral photo: Last month, the country singer shared a snap where her three children – Vivianne, eight, Eric Jr., seven, and Forrest, four – showing off their defined muscles
Jessie sparked a social media wave around Thanksgiving when she shared a photo showing her three children Vivianne, seven-year-old son Eric Jr and four-year-old boy Forrest wearing swimsuits that showed off their toned bellies.
The photos received many favorable comments – and some much less favorable ones. Jessie responded to some of the most critical.
One follower wrote: “Doesn’t look good… Sorry, not sorry [woman shrugging emoji.]’
The I Still Love You singer replied: “It’s a sad world we live in today when we have healthy, super active kids who play sports [and] building muscle naturally is “weird”.
Another person called kids with abs weird, to which Eric Decker’s wife replied, “From mother to mother.” Please don’t call my children’s appearance weird just because they don’t look like you think they should?

Jessie captioned the post, ‘Vivi crushed it again today!!! First on beam and first on floor and took second place overall!!!!!!’

Online negativity: This comes after online trolls said Decker’s kids looked ‘strange’ because they were too muscular
She added: “It’s mean [red heart emoji.]’
She later addressed the issue in a social statement, insisting that her children’s muscular looks were the result of genetics and “elite” competitive training.
She wrote, “I hadn’t planned to address this because it’s crazy, but the photos are there and every media outlet has posted about it.” When I posted the photo from our vacation and included the kids flexing mindlessly on the beach on our Thanksgiving trip, I had NO idea it would elicit the reaction he did, ‘
“But being accused of photographing my kids’ abs (can’t help but laugh) or…the polar opposite of our kids’ ‘overtraining’ makes me realize how weird our world has become. when it comes to the body and what’s normal and what’s not.. we preach about body positivity and acceptance but my kids have a massive amount of genetic and built muscle through athletics , it’s “weird”, “she added for her approximately 4.2 million followers.
“I want to raise my kids to be proud of their bodies and their hard work, from the elite competitive gymnastics of Vivis to Eric Jr wanting to be like a dad as an NFL wide receiver for little Forrest who spends hours dancing his heart. Let’s not choose what we normalize about bodies and accept all people and all children.
‘If we want to do ‘better’, then do better. I am proud of my children and I encourage them to live their dreams. So we’ll see you all at the 2032 Olympics, wearing the Bubbys jersey in the stands and dancing at the Forrests rock concert,’ Jessie concluded with a peace sign emoji.
Jessie and her husband got married in 2013. Eric Decker played in the NFL from 2010 to 2018.

She got it: Vivi balanced with her arms outstretched as she prepared for another handstand

Decker attributed family genetics and ‘elite’ physical training to his children’s ripped abs
The Flip My Hair singer has just released her latest EP The Woman I’ve Become, released just over a year ago, although she has released several singles in 2022.
His most recent song, the Billy Currington collaboration I Still Love You, was released in October.
She seems to be taking her time with a full release though, as her last LP – a Christmas album – was released in 2018.
Jessie recently competed on Dancing With The Stars, but her tenure in the competition ended late last month when she was eliminated after finishing in the bottom two at the Michael Bublé party.
