Jessie James Decker credits genetics and ‘elite’ training for giving her kids defined abs

Jessie James Decker blamed family genetics and “elite” physical training on Monday for her children’s ripped abs after sharing photos of them on social media.

The 34-year-old singer posted photos on Instagram over the weekend that showed her eight-year-old daughter Vivianne, seven-year-old son Eric Jr and four-year-old boy Forrest sporting well-defined abdominal muscles.

“I hadn’t planned to bring this up because it’s crazy, but the photos are there and every media outlet has posted about it. When I posted the photo from our vacation and included the kids flexing mindlessly on the beach on our Thanksgiving trip, I had NO idea it would elicit the reaction he did’ ‘, posted Jessie on Instagram on Monday.

“But being accused of photoshopping my kids’ abs (can’t help but laugh) or…the polar opposite of our kids’ ‘overtraining’ makes me realize how bad our world has become. weird when it comes to the body and what’s normal and what’s not.. We preach about body positivity and acceptance but my kids have a massive amount of genetic and built muscle from the athletics, it’s “weird”, “she added for her approximately 4.2 million followers.

“I want to raise my kids to be proud of their bodies and their hard work, from the elite competitive gymnastics of Vivis to Eric Jr wanting to be like a dad as an NFL wide receiver for little Forrest who spends hours dancing his heart. Let’s not choose what we normalize about bodies and accept all people and all children.

‘If we want to do ‘better’, then do better. I am proud of my children and I encourage them to live their dreams. So we’ll see you all at the 2032 Olympics, wearing the Bubbys jersey in the stands and dancing at the Forrests rock concert,’ Jessie concluded with a peace sign emoji.

Jessie first shared a photo on Saturday showing her three children wearing bathing suits that showed off their toned bellies.

Another person called kids with abs weird, to which Eric Decker’s wife replied, “From mother to mother.” Please don’t call my children’s appearance weird just because they don’t look like you think they should?

She added: ‘It’s mean [red heart emoji.]’

Jessie and her husband got married in 2013. Eric Decker played in the NFL from 2010 to 2018.

The Flip My Hair singer has just released her latest EP The Woman I’ve Become, released just over a year ago, although she has released several singles in 2022.

His most recent song, the Billy Currington collaboration I Still Love You, was released in October.

She seems to be taking her time with a full release though, as her last LP – a Christmas album – was released in 2018.

Jessie recently competed on Dancing With The Stars, but her tenure in the competition ended late last month when she was eliminated after finishing in the bottom two at the Michael Bublé party.
